A showcase of nonsense

Wall-E reviews have been leaked from a very secret underground screening ad they are AMAZING!:
“It’s a great, great movie. … I can’t wait to see it again, and I never want to see something again right away.”
Another review said:
“It is about as far from the “same-old” as you can get. I got to see it last night and it is nothing less than astonishing. A love story with robots that is so emotional and touching. Robots who teach humans how to be human again. And it is the best looking film so far this year of any released or on the horizon. The animation is virtually ALL pantomime—and is so entertaining. I can’t wait to see it again! What an amazing risk Pixar took—and it really pays off in spades.”
…I can´t wait to see it myself

I went to see “Wall-E” today and expected to get my money’s worth — but did not. I was gravely disappointed and appalled at its content. It does not measure up to previous Pixar movies. Within 5 minutes, I felt sick to my stomach. It seemed as though I was watching an unrealistic version, even though it was computer animated, of Al Gore’s global warming hoax, “An Unfortunate Truth”. Throughout the entire film, I felt I was being barraged by a propaganda tool as I sat among many families with young children in the theatre. “Wall-E” depicts a dead, life-deprived world of the near future, machines in control of people, and portrays all people as fat, stupid, and irresponsible with no idea of outside issues. It has a very unpatriotic theme designed toward creating an atmosphere of despair, fear, and uncertainty. Pixar should remember that it is a family-geared entertainment company. This film openly and shamelessly presents the desire to be politically correct and passes it off as appropriate entertainment for children.
From all I have read (I’m going to see Wall-E today), the implication is that POLLUTION, not global warming, is to blame. This is a somewhat valid point, try googling the eighth continent. Landfills are ever sprawling and litter is everywhere. I find manmade global warming a complete and total scam, a hoax, but pollution is a problem that needs to be dealt with. Sadly, the global warming hysteria is distracting from the true problem of waste/pollution.
Global warming is a hoax. Our world is not warming, it’s cooling! We have been experiencing more tornados this past year and they are caused by cold fronts! I mean, give me a break, Al Gore. The polar bears are far from being wiped out and the polar caps are twice the size they were last year. Check out the Kyoto Agreement Gore would have signed. Thank God he didn’t!
As to littering: how can one exist without giving off waste? Reality in “Wall-E” is blown completely out of proportion. There are no sky-high mountains of trash covering our planet, except maybe in third world countries where they can’t afford waste collectors and disposers. Panicing about the collective amount of litter in our country, let alone the enitre world, will do no good at all. Educating ourselves as to its actual condition, instead of the politicians’ power-grabbing version, would be the best start toward making a difference.
you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me? cooling?
Cora, are some moron with nothing better to do than respond to EVERY review of Wall-E with an “Oh this movie is rotting childs brains! Protect your children at all costs!” comment? My gosh you are rediculous.
Back to the MOVIE, I was actually curious on how Pixar would keep a film about a robot, abandoned planet, and close to no dialogue entertaining. They sure surprised me. Wall-E is a very cute and unique movie, full of comedy, innocent love, and enough action to keep you entertained through all 90 minutes of the movie. I would easily go watch it again with a friend. It is clean and wholesome, yes it has fat people, and a poluted plannet, but honestly, it is not focused on and is merely used to set the plot.
I would recomend this movie to anyone and everyone.
P.S. Not to be argumentative, but it has been scientifically proven that global warming is false. Yes it is true that the earth is currently “heating up” a little, but it is a cycle the earth goes through. There are recorded temperatures etc and they find that the earth regularly heats and cools but all averages out around a constant temperature.
And wow, I just realised all the gramatical and spelling errors in my previous post. =P
